Ema graduated from the Faculty of Law at Palacký University with honours in 2024. During her master's studies, she gained vast experience working at a law firm specializing in general praxes. Her diploma thesis was focused on "The Principle of Distinction in the Law of Armed Conflicts with a Focus on Collateral Damage." Currently, her interests are divided between international humanitarian law and international criminal law, more specifically, between the collateral damage estimation (CDE) and the reparations for victims of serious violations of international criminal law in front of the International Criminal Court. While studying for a doctorate, she works at the Supreme Administrative Court in Brno.
