Unilateral Remedies to Cyber Operations: Self-defense, Countermeasures, Plea of Necessity and Retorsion

Description
Jakub focuses mainly on the application of international law in cyberspace. His doctoral research deals with the right of self-defense, countermeasures, the plea of necessity and retorsion in the context of cyber operations. However, he is also interested in the regulation of the use of force in general and in international criminal law.
Education and Professional Experience
Jakub holds a PhD in International Law from Palacký University. He currently works as a judge at the District Court in Nový Jičín, where he deals primarily with family law and criminal law matters. He also serves as an assistant professor at Palacký University. His academic background in international law complements his practical judicial experience within the Czech legal system.
