The project is dealing with the question of autonomous weapons systems (“AWS“) from the perspective of public international law, more specifically international humanitarian law. Mária is focusing on present law regulating AWS and on future development of legal regulation of AWS. Mária also deliberates ethical and security questions of AWS. Her research is not focused only on the question of AWS, but also on artificial intelligence from the legal point of view.
